Andrei Balta joined Advent in 2019 and is a Senior Director in Madrid. He is a member of the Portfolio Support Group. Andrei works with management teams to improve performance and deliver results needed to realize the investment thesis.
Prior to joining Advent, Andrei was the CEO of Pets at Home Vet Group, the leading UK veterinary services provider. During his eight-year tenure at Pets at Home, he also served as the COO, interim CFO, Commercial Director, and Group Strategy Director. Andrei began his career as a management consultant at Bain & Company, where he spent eight years advising corporate clients across a wide range of sectors in Europe, North America, and South Africa.
Andrei holds a BSc degree in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, and Economics from the University of Warwick and an MBA from Insead.
