Advent International has been investing in France since 1987 and opened its Paris office in 1997. Our local team has worked on 15 investments in France, Belgium, Netherlands and Switzerland across a variety of sectors and deal types. We also support companies in our global portfolio in making acquisitions in France; a recent example is the purchase of French perfumery chain Nocibé by Douglas Holdings. We focus on buyouts and growth equity investments in Advent’s five core sectors: business and financial services; healthcare; industrial; retail, consumer and leisure; and technology, media and telecom.
