Advent International has been active in Germany since 1984, initially through an affiliate, and in 1991 established a Frankfurt-based advisory team. The local team has advised on over 25 investments across a variety of sectors and deal types and also covers other markets outside Germany, including Austria, Switzerland and Central and Eastern Europe. The team focuses on buyouts and growth equity investments in Advent’s five core sectors: business and financial services; healthcare; industrial; retail, consumer and leisure; and technology, media and telecom.
