Takuya Kimura joined Advent in 2026 and is a Vice President in Japan. He advises on investments in the consumer sector. Takuya has advised on six investments during his career, mainly across the consumer and electronics sectors.
Prior to joining Advent, Takuya worked at TASAKI & Co., Ltd. as a member of the company’s management team, where he was responsible for the corporate strategic division and served as president of TASAKI UK and TASAKI France. Earlier in his career, Takuya worked at MBK Partners, North Asia’s largest independent private equity firm.
Takuya received a Bachelor of Economics from Keio University, Tokyo.
