- Company will use new funding to support its global expansion and scale Skyone Studio, its proprietary platform focused on data and virtual agents
São Paulo, December 5, 2025 – Advent International, one of the largest and most experienced global private equity investors, today announced a strategic investment in Skyone, a leading Brazilian software company specializing in cloud computing, data, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions. The undisclosed investment is part of Skyone’s Series C round and was made through Advent’s Latin American Private Equity Fund VII, which manages US$2 billion of committed capital in the region.
Founded in 2013 by Ricardo Brandão (CEO), Rennan Sanchez, Rodrigo Burjato, and Caio Klein, Skyone simplifies and accelerates digital transformation for businesses. The company’s proprietary platform brings together two key pillars of modernization: Skyone Autosky, a multicloud orchestration and migration software that moves mission-critical applications to the cloud while ensuring security, high performance, and cost predictability, and Skyone Studio, a comprehensive platform that supports the entire data and AI journey – from data integration and lakehouse architecture to the creation and management of AI agents that automate business processes.
Skyone currently serves over 25,000 end customers through a network of more than 400 software partners. With annual revenue of approximately R$400 million and presence in more than 35 countries, the company has successfully scaled from small and medium businesses to large enterprise clients such as Cobasi, Mambo, Malwee, and Fortbras Autopeças. Skyone has maintained an annual growth rate of 40% and has multiplied its revenue tenfold since 2018.
Advent’s investment will aim to support the acceleration of Skyone’s strategy by expanding its sales and partner network, enhancing the distribution of its solutions, investing in research and development – especially in Skyone Studio’s AI capabilities – and driving the company’s international expansion into new global markets.
“The technology sector is being driven by structural global trends such as the accelerated adoption of SaaS models, surging demand for AI infrastructure, and the growing importance of cybersecurity,” said Brenno Raiko, a Partner at Advent International responsible for Technology investments in Latin America. “Ricardo and his visionary team have been at the forefront of this evolution, transforming Skyone into one of the most prominent Brazilian software companies by helping thousands of clients in their digital transition. We’re excited to support the company in this next chapter, scaling its presence in Brazil and propelling its international expansion.”
“Our integrated platform plays a critical role by modernizing software delivery, lowering costs, and enabling faster go-to-market,” said Ricardo Brandão, Founder and CEO of Skyone. “Advent is recognized as a global investor with deep knowledge of the Brazilian market, and welcoming them as a financial and strategic partner is a major milestone in our journey. This investment not only reinforces the strength of our business, but also provides us with additional resources to accelerate our growth and execute our expansion strategy with even more ambition and efficiency, further cementing our leadership at the intersection of cloud, data, and AI.”
Over the last 25 years, Advent’s managed funds have invested nearly $8 billion in 85 companies in Latin America. The firm has significant experience in investing in and collaborating with software companies both in Latin America and globally. In the region, the firm previously invested in TOTVS and currently holds a stake in Siesa (Colombia). Globally, Advent’s portfolio includes companies such as Prometheus, Syspro, and Volue.
Skyone’s founding partners remain significant investors in the company, as will the Henkan and BeWater funds. Inovabra Ventures, which has been an investor since 2021, as well as select angel investors, have fully exited their respective stakes in connection with the transaction.
