Advent International has been investing in the Benelux region since 1991 and opened an investment office in Luxembourg in 2017. In addition to making two investments in Luxembourg, specifically, we have invested in 12 portfolio companies across Belgium and the Netherlands. The team also supports the firm’s existing portfolio companies with a presence in the region to execute their growth strategies. We focus on buyouts and growth equity investments in Advent’s five core sectors: business and financial services, healthcare, industrial, retail, consumer and leisure, and technology.
Advent International Fund Manager S.à r.l. was established in Luxembourg in 2019. It has been authorized as an Alternative Investment Fund Manager (AIFM) by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) in Luxembourg, and is the appointed AIFM of certain Luxembourg-domiciled Alternative Investment Funds initiated by Advent International, L.P..
