Aakash Varshney joined Advent in 2025 and is a Vice President in Mumbai. He advises on investments in the consumer sector. Aakash originally joined the firm as an Associate and rejoined the firm following business school.
Prior to joining Advent, Aakash worked at Boston Consulting Group where he was involved in cost optimization and organization design in the IT services sector.
Aakash received a B.Tech in Mathematics and Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and an MBA, with honors, from The Wharton School.
Helen Wang joined Advent in 2025 and is an Associate in Sydney. She is primarily focused on investments in Australia & New Zealand across the healthcare, business & financial services and technology sectors.
Prior to joining Advent, Helen worked at Macquarie Capital as an Investment Banking Associate covering the TMET and general industrials sectors.
Helen received a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) from the University of Sydney.
Dana Liu joined Advent in 2025 and is a Vice President in Sydney. She is primarily focused on investments across business & financial services and healthcare sectors.
Prior to joining Advent, Dana was an Investment Manager at Bowmark Capital, focusing on investments in the technology sector. Before joining Bowmark Capital, Dana was an Investment Manager at Crescent Capital Partners in Sydney, focusing on investments in the healthcare and industrials sectors.
Dana received a Bachelor of Economics (Hons I) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney.
Angus Denison-Smith joined Advent in 2025 and is an Associate in London. He is a member of Advent Global Opportunities, Advent’s public equity platform.
Prior to joining Advent, Angus worked at Devon Equity Management as an Analyst.
Angus received an MEng in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford.
Victoria Lehrer joined Advent in 2025 and is an Associate in London. She advises on investments in the technology sector.
Prior to joining Advent, Victoria worked at Onex Partners as an Associate and at Goldman Sachs as an Analyst.
Victoria holds an M.A. in Accounting and Finance from the University of St. Gallen, as well as a B.Sc. in Business, Economics and Social Sciences from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
Federico Carrara joined Advent in 2025 and is an Associate in London. He advises on investments in the business & financial services sector.
Prior to joining Advent, Federico worked at McKinsey & Company as an Associate. Before that, he completed internships at Cinven and J.P. Morgan.
Federico received an MSc in Financial Analysis from London Business School and a BSc in International Economics & Management from Bocconi University.
Alexander Conlon joined Advent in 2025 and is an Associate in London. He advises on investments in the industrial sector.
Prior to joining Advent, Alexander worked at PJT Partners as an investment banking analyst, where he primarily focused on M&A transactions involving publicly listed companies. Before that, he completed an internship at PAI Partners in the UK investment team.
Alexander holds an MSc in International Finance from HEC Paris.
Nicole Sergiwa joined Advent in 2025 and is an Associate in London. She advises on investments in the healthcare sector.
Prior to joining Advent, Nicole worked at McKinsey & Company in their New York office, focusing on strategy and due diligence engagements.
Nicole received a BA in Biological Sciences from University of Chicago.
Jiayin Liu joined Advent in 2025 and is an Associate in London. She advises on investments in the technology sector.
Prior to joining Advent, Jiayin worked at UBS London, where she was an Investment Banking Analyst focused on M&A transactions.
Jiayin holds a BSc in Finance from Shandong University, as well as an MSc in Financial Economics from University of Oxford.
Annie Zhuo joined Advent in 2025 and is a Vice President in London. She is a member of the Capital Markets team and supports the firm’s capital markets activities in Europe and Asia, including new acquisition financings.
Prior to joining Advent, Annie worked at KKR in the Capital Markets team in London and Private Credit in Singapore. She also worked in the Leveraged Finance and Industrials coverage teams at Deutsche Bank.
Annie received a Master in Finance from HEC Paris and Bachelor in Management Science from Fudan University.
Adelaide Young joined Advent in 2025 and is a Vice President in London. She is a member of the Limited Partner Services Group and focuses on investor relations and fundraising activities.
Prior to joining Advent, Adelaide worked at HSBC in the Corporate Development team, where her responsibilities included executing M&A across HSBC’s global business lines and subsidiaries. Before that, Adelaide worked in Investment Banking at Scotiabank in the Financial Institutions Group.
Adelaide holds a BCom from Queen’s University in Canada.
Rosalia Martinez Rial-Doyle joined Advent in 2024 and serves as a Director on the Legal team, based in Boston.
Prior to joining Advent, Rosa worked as a Vice President within the Legal Transactions Group at BlackRock. providing transaction-related advice to investment professionals in North America and Latin America. Before joining BlackRock, she spent six years with the law firm White & Case LLP, where she represented clients in complex transactions across various sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, consumer and retail products, and technology. Rosa spent the first five years of her legal career with the law firm Marval, O’Farrell and Mairal in Argentina, where she focused on various corporate matters.
Rosa received a law degree from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, a master’s degree from Universidad del Cema, and an LLM degree from Fordham University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in New York and Argentina.
