Steve Chan joined Advent in 2026 and is a Director in Hong Kong. He is primarily responsible for Compliance coverage for the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining Advent, Steve worked as the Head of Compliance, APAC at Capstone Investment Advisors, and has over 20 years of compliance experience gained from both the buy-side and sell-side.
Steve received a BA in Economics and Geography from the University of Toronto and an LLB from the University of London. He is a CAMS designee.
Ojas Jhamb joined Advent in 2025 and is an Associate in Mumbai. He advises on investments in the financial services sector.
Prior to joining Advent, Ojas worked as a Senior Investment Analyst at Multiples Private Equity and an Investment Analyst at I-Squared Capital.

Prior to joining Advent, Ranveer worked at DC Advisory, the investment banking arm of the Daiwa group, where he worked with companies in the industrials, chemicals, and logistics sectors on M&A and fundraises.
Ranveer is a Chartered Accountant and received a BCom from H.R. College of Commerce, Mumbai University.
Caitlin Elliott joined Advent in 2026 and is Director of Global Content in New York. She is responsible for developing and executing the firm’s global marketing content strategy.
Prior to joining Advent, Caitlin served as Vice President of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Marketing, where she led client communications governance and directed large-scale firm-to-client communications. Earlier in her career, she held senior marketing roles at JPMorgan, MetLife, and W. P. Carey, specializing in content strategy and investment product marketing across institutional financial solutions and alternative investments.
Caitlin received a BA in English Literature from Fordham University.
Sven Hartmann joined Advent in 2026 and is an Associate in London. He advises on investments in the consumer sector.
Prior to joining Advent, Sven worked at PJT Partners as an investment banking associate, where he primarily focused on M&A transactions involving publicly listed companies.
Sven holds a master’s degree in banking and finance from the University of St. Gallen and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Mannheim.
Rachita joined Advent in 2026 and is the HR Business Partner for APAC.
Prior to joining Advent, Rachita served as Head of HR for India & South Asia at Visa, where she led the people strategy across the region. Earlier in her career, she held the role of Head of HR for Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, and Treasury & Markets at Axis Bank Ltd.
Rachita received an MBA in Human Resources from XLRI Jamshedpur and a degree in Electrical Engineering from Mumbai University.
Cedric Bratt joined Advent in 2026 and is an Associate in London. He advises on investments in the Healthcare sector.
Prior to joining Advent, Cedric worked as an Associate at McKinsey & Company in Stockholm and New York, where he focused on healthcare and commercial due diligence and corporate strategy projects.
Cedric received a BSc in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and an MSc and BSc in Medicine from Örebro University from studying the MD program in parallel with his business studies.
