Spencer Haught joined Advent in 2022 and is a Senior Director and serves as Transaction Counsel, based in Boston. He provides transaction-related advice to deal teams across North America, Latin America, and Asia.
Prior to joining Advent, Spencer spent seven years with the law firm Ropes & Gray LLP, where he worked on a variety of private equity transactions. Before law school, Spencer was an analyst with the investment banking firm Lazard Frères & Co. for two years.
Spencer holds a BA from Amherst College and a JD from Harvard Law School.
