Simon Liao joined Advent in 2025 and is a Vice President in Shanghai. He is primarily focused on investments in the healthcare sector in Greater China.
Prior to joining Advent, Simon spent nine years at FountainVest Partners, where he was a Vice President on the Healthcare team and successfully advised on and closed investments across a wide spectrum of opportunities involving listed companies, corporate carveouts, leverage buyouts, and growth investments. Before FountainVest Partners, Simon worked at Blackstone.
Simon received a BA in Economics from New York University.
