Sergio D’Angelo joined Advent in 2021 and is a Managing Director in London. He leads investments in the healthcare sector in Europe. Sergio has advised on 15 investments during his career, one while at Advent.
Prior to joining Advent, Sergio worked at Aretex Capital Partners, which he co-founded and helped grow. Before that, Sergio spent two years as a Partner and Head of Europe at ZZ Capital International, and over 10 years at KKR, where he ultimately co-led their European Healthcare investment effort. Earlier in his career, Sergio was a member of the Private Equity investment team at BC Partners in Milan and spent four years in the investment banking division of Citigroup in London.
Sergio holds an MSc in Finance, summa cum laude, from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.
