Experience

Sean Padgett joined Advent International in 2008 to help drive portfolio company performance improvement.

Sean has 14 years of operating experience where he has held various sales, marketing, finance, operations, and general management positions in the real estate and energy industries. He also spent seven years with Bain & Company, a global strategy consulting firm, where he led more than 45 strategic diligence and performance improvement assignments for private equity firms and their portfolio companies in North America and Europe.

Before joining Advent, Sean spent three years with ILI, a Riverstone Holdings company, partnering with management to develop and execute its growth strategy, as well as leading the acquisition and integration of seven competitors in the oil field services industry.

Qualifications

Sean has a BA in economics from Colby College and an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.
