Experience
Francesco de Giglio joined Advent in 2006 and is managing director of Advent's Italian office. He has 23 years private equity experience.
Before joining Advent, Francesco was chairman of SG Private Equity Italia S.p.A. and manager of the Milan office of SG Capital Europe Advisors Ltd.
From 1988 to 1999 he was senior director of So.Pa.F., one of Italy’s leading merchant banks, and also partner of Invest Equity Partners, one of the company’s buyout funds focusing on the Italian market.
Qualifications
Francesco has a degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from Bocconi University.
