Experience

Dave Richards joined the Advent Portfolio Support team in 2009 to help drive portfolio company performance improvement.  Since then Dave has worked alongside management teams at Amscan/Party City, BondDesk, Bradco and Charlotte Russe.  Prior to Advent, Dave was a team leader at Bain & Company, a global strategy consulting firm. There he led over a dozen strategic due diligence projects for private equity firms and also drove turnaround programs for private equity portfolio companies.   Prior to Bain, Dave was a consultant at A.T. Kearney, a global supply chain consulting firm, where he led cost reduction initiatives in strategic procurement.  Dave began his career at Kraft Foods where he spent six years as a senior engineer on projects in product cost reduction and new product launches.

Qualifications

Dave earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS from Purdue University’s College of Engineering.
