Experience

Tamás joined Advent in 2003. In his regional role, he was responsible for expanding Advent’s activities into Ukraine and, prior to that, for managing the Budapest office. Tamás was involved in or co-led several of our investments in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Bulgaria. He served as an interim CEO of Danubius Radio in Hungary and most recently, he led Advent’s investment in Isida (Ukraine).
 
Prior to joining Advent, Tamás spent three years with ING Barings in London, where he worked in the M&A and Equity Capital Markets teams, focusing on telecommunications and technology in emerging markets. Transactions he was involved in included the acquisition of several mobile operators in Ukraine and across the CIS as well as landmark Eurobond offerings in Russia.
 
Before joining ING Barings, Tamás worked as IT consultant in Austria for several years.

Qualifications

Tamás graduated from the University of Linz in Austria with a Masters in Business Administration and Information Technology. He also spent a year at Manchester School of Management in the United Kingdom studying International Business.
