Jim McGee joined Advent International in 2011 and focuses on investor relations and fundraising in The Americas. He has 12 years of investor relations experience at leading private equity firms and hedge funds.
Jim was previously a managing director at The Carlyle Group, where he was responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with institutional investors in the U.S. and raising capital for the firm's various investment funds. Prior to joining Carlyle, he oversaw marketing and investor relations for Dallas-based hedge fund Newcastle Partners. Previously, he worked as a private placement agent for J.P. Morgan.

Jim received his B.A. and M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University.
