Experience
Georg Stratenwerth joined Advent’s Frankfurt office in 2003 where he was a joint General Manager. In 2008, he established a team focusing on opportunities in the Indian market alongside his Western Europe responsibilities. He has 15 years of private equity experience.
Georg joined Advent from JP Morgan Partners, where he was head of their Munich office. While at JP Morgan, he focused on industrial buyouts and growth equity transactions and led, co-led or participated in 15 investments including Tes Media, AHC Oberflächentechnik, Casa Reha, Gerresheimer Glass, Kloeckner Pentaplast and Siteco Industrial Lighting. Before that, he worked as a management consultant at Mercer Management Consulting and Roland Berger & Partner.
Qualifications
Georg has an MBA from INSEAD and a degree in management studies from the European School of Management.
