Experience
Tim Franks joined the London office of Advent International in 1999 and has 13 years of private equity experience. In 2010 he moved to open and lead Advent’s New York office. In 2013 Tim returned to Advent's London office where he is a member of the Western Europe Investment Advisory Committee.
Prior to Advent, Tim worked for the investment banking division of Credit Suisse First Boston in London and before that for Deutsche Morgan Grenfell.
Qualifications
Tim has an MA from Cambridge University, where he was awarded the Dr. Herchel Smith Scholarship for continued study at Harvard University. At Harvard, Tim received a Master of Public Policy focusing on international finance and development from the John F. Kennedy School of Government.
