Advent will continue to focus on the operational improvements plan introduced by the company’s new management team three years ago with an emphasis on developing an integrated care pathway.

Demand for the services, forecasted to increase annually by between 1% and 4%, is being driven by an overall growing population but also by rising levels of learning disability (LD) acuity in the young adult population; improved life expectancy of the LD population and an increase in the number of lone-parent households as well as ageing carers.

The speciality care market is highly fragmented and as market leader with c.3% of overall bed capacity, Craegmoor is well positioned to lead the consolidation in this sector.
