The GPE program is now in its seventh generation following the launch of GPE VII in November 2012. At the time of closing, the fund was the world's largest private equity fund closed in the last four years. Investing in upper-mid-market buyouts in Advent’s core sectors, GPE VII focuses on cross-border, strategic repositioning and growth opportunities and employs a highly active ownership approach to drive earnings improvements in portfolio companies.
